.::Spirit's & Rain's 9 Crimes::.

Entering into Rudahn's contest--emotional category. I first heard this song on Shrek and instantly fell in love with it. So of course, me being the ADHD person that I am, had to flip flop everything and start on a new entry (as apposed to my original 'action' category project). There's both a metaphorical and literary message in this video, which I've come to find out can be looked at in different ways. Color coding: sepia:happy memories grey/b&w:bad/sad memories color:present/reflecting on memories Story: S & R are in an "open" relationship. R wants more, while S can't stay in one spot for long. This causes much turmoil in their relationship. Although they both love each other, they come to realize that there's nothing between them. All they can do is remember the good times they had with one another. R confronts S, telling him that she's found someone she can be happy with (even though memories of S continue to fog her head) but she cannot do it unless she knows that S is willing to break all ties. S is reluctant at first, but allows R to have her space. He soon finds himself in a rift: his freedom (to be with whomever he chooses) and R. So he goes away, but can't get his mind off of R. The "others" who he'd been with realize that S isn't acting like he once had. In the end, S knows he'd made a mistake, taking R for granted, but he loves her too much to ruin what she'd built up with LC, so he lets her go, keeping the good times they had shared in his memories. Wow, depressing huh? It took me awhile to figure out a decent plot/story line, so be proud! I said be proud dangit!
