( Deut.7:9, Song of Sol 2:4, IJn.3:1,5:7 Zeph.3:17) Lyrics by J&R Anderson Music done with Suno (Title) Covenant of Love ( Deut.7:9, SoS 2:4, IJn.3:1,5:7 Zeph.3:17) (Verse) Behold what love the Father has given to us A million songs describing it wouldn’t be enough So forgive this feeble attempt as I repeat The love song I hear as He sings over me (Pre Chorus) He is faithful to a thousand generations Calling all people, tribes and nations Not just the good but the worst of the worst I love you so much says the God of the universe (Chorus) It’s a love song like none you’ve ever heard Sung by The Father, The Spirit and The Word Rejoicing like a banner waving over me from above A daily reminder of His covenant of love (Verse) This love song was rehearsed before the world began Then preformed by the God with the nail prints in his hands When justice and mercy finally harmonized And my sin debt was forever satisfied (Pre Chorus) He is faithful to a thousand generations Calling all people, tribes and nations Not just the good but the worst of the worst I love you so much says the God of the universe (Chorus) It’s a love song like none you’ve ever heard Sung by The Father, The Spirit and The Word Rejoicing like a banner waving over me from above A daily reminder of His covenant of love (Instrumental) (Bridge) Look to the cross and hear Love Incarnate sing From everlasting to ever lasting Serenaded by the One who is faithful and true Oh how He longs to sing praises over you (Pre Chorus) He is faithful to a thousand generations Calling all people, tribes and nations Not just the good but the worst of the worst I love you so much says the God of the universe (Chorus) It’s a love song like none you’ve ever heard Sung by The Father, The Spirit and The Word Rejoicing like a banner waving over me from above A daily reminder of His covenant of love A daily reminder of His covenant of love
