Beating sub drones a few cents apart that never settle, bowed metal tuned to inharmonic ratios so nothing ever resolves into a chord, impacts that fall in pitch as they decay, swells played backwards so they crescendo into nothing, and a slow pulse at 58 to 70 beats a minute that enters, takes over, and leaves four times across the piece. Everything is synthesized from scratch — no samples, no loops. The visual is generated the same way: the pumpkin's flame follows the low end, the streetlight flickers on the high end, and the frame weaves a pixel or two every frame so it never quite sits still.
