Paramotor equipment is the safest stuff out there as far as failure causing crashes. Almost all incidents are pilot error. And of those errors, the most are choosing to fly when you should not be flying. Better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, then in the air wishing you were on the ground. IA fog is nothing like higher elevation MT fog. My visibility was not what I thought it would be so I immediately aborted the flight and landed. I had flown this field the day before (video in channel) and was very familiar with my surroundings. Never lost sight of the ground. Was beautiful about an hour later. Of course.
