2024 Window Rock AZ Navajo Nation Fair | Fairgrounds Events

At this 2024 Window Rock Navajo Nation Fair, an annual cultural and traditional event, events were recorded and presented for you to experience or relive—all from a different point of view and a new perspective. This event brings communities from far and wide together in the capital of the Navajo Nation. It features a mix of entertaining and exciting sights and sounds, all video-recorded during my recording excursions at the fairgrounds. Featured are video clips of Ashkii Happy Kids Day, the 4-H livestock show, the Dog show, and much more. Carnival rides and food vendors add to the festive atmosphere. On occasion, at certain spots on the carnival Midway, the flavorful aromas of the different foods and snacks (kettle corn, cotton candy, soft pretzels, corn dogs, curly fries, and hamburgers) wafted through the air. They blended pleasantly, almost taking you to another heavenly dimension. The days of recordings are from Wednesday, September 4, through Saturday, September 7.
