In this video, I will show you my collection of diesel locomotives designed as " Nohab" or nicknamed "round nose". This class of engine has always been part of the Märklin collection since the early '60s. Real engines were operated by railway companies in Belgium, Luxembourg, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Hungary.
The locomotive is a CC type. They were based on a US diesel-electric mass produced by General Motors Electromotive Division, and assembled in Europe by firms such as Nohab. The main difference with the US model is the presence of a driving cab at each end.
