Today is Day 5 of the ninth annual "10 Days of Pumpkin" here on the channel, and the beer I'm reviewing once again comes from the New Trail Brewing Company (‪@newtrailbrewingco.8821‬), and it's their Werewolf, the 2026 release. This is an Imperial Pumpkin Stout that is brewed with vanilla, pumpkin spices and lactose. Over the past year, I've heard very good things about this beer, along with its barrel-aged counterpart, so I'm incredibly stoked to finally give it a go. Is it as good as people say? Let's find out! Commercial Description: Werewolf is our Imperial Pumpkin Stout, brewed with pumpkin spices, vanilla, and lactose. A hefty base of dark, caramel, and oat malts set the stage while pumpkin spice and vanilla rip through the mid-palette. Werewolf is dark, decadent, and only here under the full moon.
