Join me in this episode of my London A–Z Street Photography series as I head to Liverpool Street in the heart of London. Armed with a vintage 28mm prime lens, I explore the dynamic mix of modern city buildings, historic architecture, and bustling street life, capturing the unique atmosphere of one of London’s busiest districts.
Shooting with a 28mm lens brings a whole new perspective to street photography. The wide field of view allows me to frame the towering skyscrapers, urban details, and candid street scenes in a way that feels immersive and cinematic. In this video, I shoot wide open with vintage glass, sharing the challenges, quirks, and creative advantages of using classic manual focus lenses in a modern urban environment.
If you’re interested in street photography techniques, vintage lenses on digital cameras, or simply want to be inspired by the energy of London street photography, this video is for you. I’ll share my thoughts on composition, lens choice, and adapting to the fast pace of city shooting.
