Premodern Deck Tech: Astral Slide

This is another one of those old Standard decks that came about because Wizards pushed a particular mechanic very hard. In this case it was Cycling. This was the first time it came back so they wanted to make it interesting so they added in different cycling costs and effects that happened when you cycled it. This deck is sweet. You can draw a ton of cards all while stymieing your opponents board development. This is the type of abusable engine that Wizards doesn't like to print these days e.g. Grove of the Burnwillows and Punishing Fire. Fortunately, it's pretty good in Premodern so you can experience it for yourself!
