What started as a simple day of island hopping around Kavieng, Papua New Guinea turned into one of the wildest days of my trip. We began by dodging dangerous rain storms in a tiny dinghy, making our way across the sea with no life jackets and some seriously rough conditions. Before reaching our actual destination, we stopped at two small islands to snorkel and explore. From there, I got to tour a tiny remote island, explore an abandoned rusty boat in Kavieng Harbor where men were actually living, paddleboard through the channel, and even jump into a traditional local canoe carved from a single tree trunk. I also give you a full tour of my stay at Nusa Island Retreat, one of the most unique places I stayed in Papua New Guinea. This was one of those days where you never really knew what was going to happen next. 🇵🇬 Kavieng, New Ireland Province — Papua New Guinea #PapuaNewGuinea #PNG #Kavieng #NewIreland #IslandHopping #TravelVlog #AdventureTravel #NusaIslandRetreat #OffTheBeatenPath #Travel
