Thainana Thai Nana fishing in Thailand. Giant Siamese Carp, Mekong Catfish, Snakehead and arapaima

I had a spare Sunday morning so decided to take a drive out to a fishing part ICW sent me a link to. Its called Thainana and has 5 lakes to choose from. • Amazon lake. Has arapaima, redtails, and Pacu in it. 3500B for Thai and 4000B for foreigners. When asked why they said because a foreigner will need to rent equipment. So, I hope to get the 3500b price if I decide to fish this lake. You can only fish for arapaima between 8am and 5-6pm I think they said, and it would be good to call and book in advance so they can be ready as a guide will be with you to handle the fish. • The Mekong carp lake 200b a rod for 12 hr. no start time or finish time just turn up when you want and get 12hr from that time. Lake is open 24hr a day and has some very nice shelters for free along the bank as well as some airconditioned rooms that are 1500b for 24hr. • Seabass lake. 300b to fish that lake and that includes 1kg of fish to take home. Every additional kg will be 150b. • Snakehead lake.200b to fish and every kg of fish take will be 120b • Tilapia lake. 100b a rod 50b for a kg of tilapia and 90 for the red tilapia. Also, open 24hr and has some very nice shelters and rooms available. Coming soon a 6th lake that will be a striped catfish lake. I am massively impressed with the venue. The time and care that has gone in to the set up of the lakes is refreshing to see. It’s a beautiful place to be and I will be going back to investigate moore soon that’s for sure.
