Gears of the Firmament (55-6)

The stars are turning on a silver wheel A universe made of brass and steel The moon is a crescent of polished gold With a secret spring that the ancients hold The clouds are drifting on iron rails Driven by the wind in the metal sails Listen to the click of the morning light Winding the day and chasing the night The key is turning in the lock of the sun The cosmic machine has just begun! Spinning the gears of the heavens above In a clockwork world without hate or love The sky is a prison of golden sparks Marking the path where the comet barks! Watch the planets in a perfect line Under the shadow of a grand design The pendulum swings from the edge of the sky Where the mechanical eagles fly! Oil and stardust in the Milky Way The rust of the ages is hidden away A copper horizon and a sapphire gear The sound of the ticking is all we hear A universe built by a madman's hand Across the borders of the metal land The universe needs to be wound again! Tick... tock... the time is right... Under the dome of the neon night... #SpeedMetal #PowerMetal #symphonicmetal #EpicMusic #FantasyMusic #EmotionalMetal
