1/18 Mercedes-Benz 300D T-Modell (S124) made by Norev. For family. And a truly workhorse.

The T-Modell, or Estate/Wagon, has always been an important model in the Mercedes-Benz E-Class line-up. Made to be used either as a family car or as a workhorse, the T-Modell (S124) always gets the job done. And it doesn't look bad either. Actually, it looks really good—at least, I like it a lot. Norev did a great job too. The model is well-made, features full openings, and includes active steering and suspension. It comes with carpeting throughout, and I was impressed by how well Norev did the carpet in the boot. Overall, the model is very well-detailed. I also get the feeling that Norev paid a bit more attention to detail for this specific series, which includes the W124 (saloon), S124 (estate), C124 (coupe), and A124 (cabriolet).Anyway, good job Norev. The quality is exactly as it should be: very good. I still have a slight issue with the door-closing mechanism, which feels a bit too soft to me. The doors close smoothly, but they should close a bit more firmly. Regardless, it is not the end of the world, and I really like this model.
