I had picked out three potential loops, the top end of Gardens of Stone just near Capertee, up north to a run-up to a lookout over Kandos, and then back to a little loop I found in Running Stream near our accommodation. I picked these routes based on Hema Maps and then cross references with Gaia Maps, including their base map and the NSW Topo map. Would the maps lead us to the ADV heaven or up a garden path?
