KAVI SAMMELAN -KAVYANJALI :AN ECHO OF HINDI POETRY IN MALAYSIA 2026

The Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Indian Cultural Centre , in collaboration with the High Commission of India, Kuala Lumpur and the Hindi Hai Hum Foundation Malaysia, successfully hosted Kavi Sammelan – Kavyanjali: An Echo of Hindi Poetry in Malaysia on 12 September 2026 at the NSCBICC Multipurpose Hall as part of the Hindi Diwas 2026 celebrations. The occasion was graced by Shri Hitesh Rajpal, Deputy High Commissioner of India, as Guest of Honour, along with Smt. Vijayalakshmy Sunderrajan, Counsellor (Culture) and Director, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Indian Cultural Centre, Kuala Lumpur. The evening celebrated the rich diversity of Hindi poetry, with heartfelt recitations that resonated deeply with the audience. The gathering of over 150 participants fostered a vibrant spirit of unity, cultural pride, and community engagement. Adding to the cultural richness, a graceful Kathak performance by Ms. Priyadarshini Sanyal and her students captivated the audience with its rhythm and elegance, followed by a soulful Shiva Vandana presented by Ms. Lakshmi Prasad.
