Mercy Kept the Light On (Official Lyric Video) – Elara Mercy

🕯️ *Mercy Kept the Light On | Elara Mercy | Contemporary Worship Music* ✨ When the night feels endless, God's mercy is still shining. "Mercy Kept the Light On" is a heartfelt contemporary worship song about the faithfulness of Jesus through our darkest hours. When our strength fades, our faith feels small, and the way forward seems impossible, His love remains. Sometimes the greatest miracle isn't that the night ends quickly. It's discovering that Jesus never left us alone in it. This song is a reminder that God's mercy does not depend on our strength, our worthiness, or our ability to hold everything together. Even at 3 a.m., His faithfulness remains. 🙏 📖 *Lamentations 3:22–23* "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness." 🎶 *MERCY KEPT THE LIGHT ON — FULL LYRICS* Mercy kept the light on Mercy did not go out Mercy kept the light on Through every hour of doubt I came home to a dark I thought was final I reached for a switch I could not find Then I saw a lamp that had never been mine to keep And mercy was still burning in the hall Mercy kept the light on Mercy did not go out Mercy kept the light on Through every hour of doubt It was not my faith that held the flame It was not my worth that bought the oil Jesus, Your kindness sat up through the night And would not let the dark have the house Mercy kept the light on Mercy did not go out Mercy kept the light on Through every hour of doubt New every morning, and new in the three a.m. Great is Your faithfulness when I have none The light was a person, not a metaphor And He stayed until I could see again Holy Spirit, keep the lamp in me Father, I receive what I did not deserve Jesus, mercy, mercy, mercy You kept the light on Mercy kept the light on Mercy did not go out Mercy kept the light on Through every hour of doubt The light is still on 🙏 *A PRAYER FOR YOU* Heavenly Father, thank You for keeping Your light shining even when we feel surrounded by darkness. Remind us that Your mercy never runs out, Your love never gives up, and Your faithfulness is new every morning.
