I start with a quick stroll through the lush grounds of Yuexiu Park before heading into the bustling Xiaobei district—famous for its lively halal street food scene, Middle Eastern eateries, and Northwest Chinese Lanzhou restaurants lining both sides of the street. From there, I take an extended walk down the vibrant Beijing Road Pedestrian Street (Beijing Lu), exploring ancient glass-covered road excavations and modern shops, before finishing at the magnificent, multi-tiered Dafo Temple (Grand Buddha Temple) right in the center of the pedestrian area.
