🪔 Tihar (Deepawali) is Nepal’s festival of lights. For five days, Nepalis light lamps and honor crows, dogs, cows, oxen, and the bond between brothers and sisters. This is the first evening, the night of Dhanteras, when families light up their homes and buy gold and silver.
