Lines in the Sand — an original instrumental guitar piece from the smithy. A quiet, slightly jazzy and bluesy piece built around a simple melody and plenty of space. I'm currently working on a collection of instrumental pieces, exploring how the guitar can become a voice of its own — with its own sound, phrasing and character, carrying emotion much like a singer would. “Lines in the Sand” is one of the pieces that came out of that idea.
