Tried out the new medic weapon and it is an interesting one. If you are accurate it can be quite satisfying however that isn't always possible with sight sway parallax that appears more pronounced on the iron and optical sights of weapons in BF1. I'd still like a version with the markman or sniper variant scope. It makes it easier to maintain tracking on a target with higher graphics quality. As for the rest of the new weapons in the DLC they are "meh". Nothing overpowered which is certainly a good thing but I also don't really see very many reasons to use them over some of the current vanilla weapon choices. Playable areas of the maps seem quite small. I suppose that is a good thing as navigating through most with transport vehicle would lead to getting stuck quite frequently so my guess is they went with a compromise in size so run time was short. Not like it matters all that much as the movement speed and strafe speed of BF1 players is already so high travel time on foot is generally shorter than previous Battlefield games. By the way I did make a post in the CTE subreddit for the squad order sound effect added in CTE with this clip:   / credulousalertplumberdancingbaby   But not a lot of people were concerned about it:   / squad_order_sound_effect   I am a little concerned that BF1's CTE isn't being utilized effectively by DICE. It's been live for a while now and it seems like all they are doing is letting people play with the new maps and weapons early. It's a test environment. One that is separate from the live build and NOT restricted by console certifications so they don't have an excuse for not pumping out new builds a few times a week with tweaks, fixes, trying out new things.
