We camped 4 days with the World's Largest Brown Bears (Katmai National Park)

Today, we are flying into remote Alaska to live with over 2,000 of some of the largest land carnivores on earth. This is our 3-day Katmai National Park backpacking expedition to Brooks Falls and the Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes. We start by flying from Anchorage to King Salmon, and then we take our first float plane into the park. After mandatory bear school, we're off to set up camp and really see what life is like for these coastal brown bears.
