Church explained that collecting offerings on the first day of the week in the New Testament was a matter of convenience and not a divine rule, and he argued that there is no scripture forbidding the collection of tithes on the Sabbath. The group discussed the meaning of "keeping" feasts, with Church asserting that Old Testament feasts were tied to specific locations and purposes that were fulfilled in Christ. A significant portion of the conversation covered the nature of prophecy and predictions, where Church distinguished between divinely inspired visions and educated predictions, and questioned the validity of modern claims of prophecy. The discussion also touched on the millennium, the role of the righteous and wicked during that time, and the nature of salvation through Christ rather than repentance alone. Church addressed questions about church titles and roles, explaining the biblical order of apostles, prophets, pastors, and teachers, and clarified the difference between an apostle and an evangelist. The conversation ended with a reminder to study the scriptures and not rely on personal understanding.
