This sunny afternoon walk starts at Barangaroo Metro Station, right by the waterfront. Even in early autumn, the weather feels warm like summer. We follow the path along the harbour, with palm trees, benches, and beautiful views of Darling Harbour. Along the way, we pass Nawi Cove with its sandstone rocks, and enjoy views across to Pyrmont. The modern skyline stands out, including Crown Sydney and the One Sydney Harbour towers. There are many places to stop, relax, or take photos, with lookouts, shaded areas, and even unique spots like an outdoor bed cinema and a small outdoor gym. As we continue, the walk takes us past busy wharves, restaurants, and offices in the Barangaroo district. The area becomes more urban as we leave the waterfront and head toward the city streets. We walk through narrow paths between buildings, and enter a pedestrian tunnel that leads directly to Wynyard. This part is busier, especially during weekday afternoons, with many people heading home. The walk ends at Wynyard Train Station, offering an easy and direct connection between Barangaroo and the Sydney CBD.
