The PERFECT Disney California Adventure Day | Cars Land Sh-Boom, Rope Drop & Tiki Room

There's nothing better than a full day at the Disneyland Resort, and this one might be our favorite of the trip! We kick things off with a rope drop at Disney California Adventure, heading straight for Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! before making our way to WEB SLINGERS with almost no wait. After working up an appetite, we stop for lunch at one of our favorite quick-service restaurants in all of Disney California Adventure—Lucky Fortune Cookery. Then it's time to do a little shopping around both DCA and Disneyland before heading back to the Hilton Anaheim for a much-needed afternoon nap. That evening, we venture back to the Anaheim Packing House for another visit to BXCR to enjoy their fantastic happy hour while cheering on Team USA in the World Cup. Unfortunately, the result wasn't what we were hoping for, but dinner at Zero Zero Pizza more than made up for it—it was incredible! Back at Disney California Adventure, we experience one of the most magical moments in any Disney park: Cars Land coming to life during the Sh-Boom lighting ceremony. If you're planning a Disneyland vacation, this is an absolute must-see. We also share a fun throwback from two years ago when we were randomly selected as the "Cars Family," earning free Lightning Lanes for the day! Of course, no visit to Cars Land is complete without riding Radiator Springs Racers, one of the best attractions Disney has ever built. To end the night, we park hop over to Disneyland where we take a relaxing ride on the Jungle Cruise, grab a late-night snack from Bengal Barbecue, and finish the evening with our own private performance of Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room.
