Sonia Abroud : Consumer culture and women in Hollywood cinema of the 1930s: An intersectional review

Sonia Abroud is currently a PhD student at the Université de Caen Normandie. Her thesis is entitled: “Le cinéma hollywoodien des années 1930 : enjeux de la représentation d'une culture de consommation face à la crise économique et sociale.” The project is supervised by Professor Penny Starfield. She is also a contractual English teacher at the University of Le Havre Normandie.
