While we were casting away with high hopes for an epic catch, my teammate’s rod suddenly bent completely doubled! With the reel screaming and the drag peeling, a massive 90cm-class "Taogi" (Monster) Sea Bass finally surfaced. The moment that giant fish started thrashing, my heart skipped a beat. I immediately put my own rod down and transformed into a full-time volunteer—the "Professional Net Man." (I’m not sure why my eyes were tearing up, though... 😂) After my tearful efforts with the landing net, I managed to pull myself together and landed a decent 50cm wild Flatfish (Halibut) myself! Although the total catch count was a bit low, it was an incredible trip filled with the overwhelming presence of a monster sea bass and the thrilling fight of a solid flatfish.
