Something TERRIBLE Is Hiding in This Scottish Fishing Town... - SILENT HILL: Townfall EP1

SILENT HILL: Townfall takes us to a remote Scottish fishing town in the mid-1990s, where Simon Ordell returns to St. Amelia to “put things right” and quickly finds himself pulled into something far more disturbing. This first episode gives us our opening look at its stealth-heavy horror, strange creatures, puzzles and slowly unfolding mystery. As someone coming into Silent Hill fresh, this has been a fascinating place to start. The visuals, music and sound design are exceptional, the setting is wonderfully oppressive and there are already some genuinely terrifying moments. Combat feels deliberately awkward and avoidance often seems wiser, but the narrative has absolutely got its hooks into me. Disclosure: I received a free review copy of this game.
