If We Only Had One… || August 2026

It’s another long day on the farm, and this one starts with Andy and Jacob coming home after taking the steers to the processor. From there, there’s no slowing down, it’s time to get back in the hayfield. Andy teaches Jacob how to rake hay, and while Jacob gets some seat time, Andy hooks up to the round baler and keeps things moving. Of course, farm days rarely go exactly as planned, and when one tractor gives trouble, we’re reminded just how thankful we are to have another one ready to go. By the time the hay work is winding down, it’s late, everybody’s tired, and Meagan heads home to throw together a quick supper before calling it a day. Another day full of work, learning, breakdowns, and doing what needs to be done.
