Mercedes 722.6 Chrysler NAG hydraulics

This video covers the hydraulic operation of the Mercedes 722.6 RWD transmission used in many RWD and 4WD vehicles. This transmission is also commonly known as the NAG1 for Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles. These transmissions are still offered in 2021 models and arrived on the scene in 1996!! In this video, I cover the hydraulic operation of the valve body and focus on the three shift groups that control the various clutches. This video is intended to teach a student or a technician the hydraulic operation of this transmission.
