Probably Don't Work on Your KTM Like This... | KTM 300 Maintenance

No riding this time — the KTM needed a little attention. After plenty of hard enduro abuse, it was time to spend a couple of days in the garage doing some maintenance on my 2024 KTM 300 XC-W. The list included a new top end, oil pump, crankcase pressure monitor, and repacking the exhaust — along with all the usual disassembly, reassembly, head scratching, misplaced tools, and wondering whether I actually remembered to tighten that bolt. I recorded most of the process with a chest-mounted camera over two days. Multiple hours of footage eventually became 9½ minutes, partly because nobody needs or wants to watch hours of motorcycle maintenance and partly because a surprising amount of my footage consisted of an excellent view of the garage floor. This is NOT a how-to video. Seriously. There are people on YouTube who actually know what they're doing. If you're trying to learn how to rebuild your KTM, you should probably watch one of them. This is just a condensed, slightly questionable look at a couple of days spent wrenching on the bike that normally appears getting beaten through rocks, roots, hills, and bad decisions.
