ਅਮਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਚਾਵਲਾ ਰੇਪ ਕੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਜਾਂਚ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਨਵੀਂ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਈ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਏ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਮੋਹਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਦਾਅਵੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਚਾਵਲਾ ਬਹਿਰੀਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਬੀਬੀ ਦੇ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ-ਸਹਿਣ, ਖਾਣ-ਪੀਣ ਤੇ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਨੇ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਕਰੀਬ 8 ਮਹੀਨੇ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕੇਸਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇੜਲੀਆਂ ਸਰਾਂਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹੀ। ਰੂਪਨਗਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਤੋਂ ਕਰੀਬ 5 ਘੰਟੇ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹੈੱਡ ਗ੍ਰੰਥੀ ਮਲਕੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਸੰਮਨ ਭੇਜੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਹੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। #news18punjab #amarjitchawla #punjabpolice #sgpc #jathedargargaj New developments have emerged in the Amarjit Singh Chawla rape case investigation. Driver Mohan Singh, who joined the police probe, made several claims during questioning. According to the driver, Chawla was in contact with the Bahrain-based woman and arrangements were made for her stay, food, and local transportation. The driver claimed that the woman stayed for around eight months in accommodations near Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib. Rupnagar Police questioned the driver for nearly five hours. The investigation is ongoing, and police have said that former head granthi Malkit Singh may also be summoned again.
