A Psychedelic Trip That Brought This Caller to Christianity | Matt Dillahunty & Promise

Original Episode Here: https://youtube.com/live/w1pSBNd4bSQ A caller named Deja phones in wanting to talk about "the benefits of faith," but things quickly go sideways. He recounts a psychedelic experience that led him back to Christianity, comparing his own reasoning process to a fictional AI story and later awkwardly equating Jesus's crucifixion to real-world sacrifice — a comparison that visibly angers host Matt, a Navy veteran. The conversation devolves into a heated, profanity-laced debate over how to define "faith" itself, with Deja repeatedly shifting definitions and dodging direct yes/no questions while Promise and Matt tag-team to corner him logically. By the end, tempers are fully frayed, Deja gets muted, and the hosts cut the call short, unconvinced he engaged honestly.
