Building a 3-Bay Pallet Compost System

Building a 3-bay compost system using reclaimed wooden pallets for our off-grid homestead in Portugal. A 3-bin setup allows for easy batch composting: collecting fresh organic matter in the first two bins while using the third open bay for easy shoveling and storing of finished nutrient-rich soil. This video features pure, authentic work and nature sounds with no voiceover or background music. Immerse yourself in the tactile sounds of timber joinery, shoveling, and daily life on our off-grid farm. 🌿 IN THIS EPISODE: Clearing and leveling the site Assembling pallet bays with open-access front framing Layering initial organic biomass & woodchips Creating an efficient homestead compost loop
