I tried farming in the Philippines — harvesting rice with my Filipino father-in-law in Mindanao 🇵🇭 Today I got a small taste of life as a rice farmer in the Philippines. My father-in-law's rice field was ready for harvest in Mindanao, so we headed out — and I somehow ended up carrying sacks of rice. From carrying sacks to fresh coconuts and merienda in the middle of the field, it turned into one of those simple days in the province that makes for a pretty good adventure.
