When Cook Foods, a high-end producer of prepared puddings, needed an additional cold room (≈19 kW) to support growth, the brief left no wiggle room: natural refrigerant only, low noise, and a single integrated unit due to limited space. Partnering with RefMech, we delivered a compact, future ready solution built on the Danfoss Optyma™ iCO2 condensing unit (R744). The unit integrated seamlessly with existing monitoring and alarms and included Danfoss gas detection for added safety. The outcome checked every box. The Optyma™ iCO2’s small footprint and low noise performance suited the site’s constraints, while a natural refrigerant helped align with the customer’s Net Zero ambitions.
