Thoughts on each member:
Hyunjin/Lee Know
Hyunjin
➕ Unique, effortlessly charismatic on stage
➕ Sharp dynamic dancer
➕ It's not hyunjin if there's no personal flair within the choreography
➕ Texture-wise, he's easily the best in the group
➕ Likes to move in a minimalistic way then goes full-out when he gets the momentum as the music goes for it
➕ Popping techniques like hits, locks, and stops are fairly developed
➖ Arms looked stiffer (maybe because of his hand injury)
➖ Kinda clunky transitions overall
Lee Know
➕ Dancer with a balanced technique
➕ Movements are generally relaxed but can be forceful as well
➕ Executed footwork & transitions effortlessly compared to others
➕ Clean body lines (especially the arms)
➕ Arguably, the best body control in the group
➖ Arms are too flowy.
➖ Dynamics is surely there but I always feel wanting more
(I also noticed goes full-out in live stages rather than in a dance practice setting which is somewhat positive if you come to think of it)
Felix
➕ Clean dancer
➕ Extensive lower area coordination
➕ Head is well-utilized to add flavor to his execution
➕ Decent locks
➕ Fairly clean lines
➖ Legs are overextended at times
➖ Applying too much force messes with his overall timing and execution
Bang Chan/Seungmin/Changbin
Bang Chan
➕ Expressive performer
➕ Physically strong but isn't tense when dancing
➕ Footwork is good
➕ Able to use his long arms for good extensions
➕ Musicality is good enough
➖ Arm control isn't bad nor good
➖ Lacking characteristics in dancing
Seungmin
➕ Surprised me with his footwork and smooth transitions
➕ Nice energy
➕ His subtle hits are also passable
➕ One of the best members in terms of angles
➖ Isolations are underdeveloped
➖ Torso is locked in a specific state
➖ Stage presence isn't up to par compared to others
Changbin
➕ He's not highlighted that much from the video but again, that's just not my basis.
➕ His musicality is his biggest asset, he seems to be fully aware of the beats.
➕ Easily-coordinated dancer
➕ Movements are smooth
➕ Good footwork
➖ Really laid-back at times which is fine but he doesn't stand out too much bc of this
➖ Isolations are decent but somewhat restricted for some reasons
Han
➕ Great performer
➕ Arguably, has the best alignments in the group
➕ I'm starting to think that he's more of a graceful dancer lol
➕ Smooth & relaxed movements
➖ Plain dynamics
➖ Too much clarity can make him less impactful
➖ Musicality is a minor issue
I.N.
➕ I like that he's powerful and goes all-out every time
➕ With better technique, I think he can be the type of dancer who likes to incorporate crisp locks into executions.
➕ He's really good when movements aren't challenging and in a slower tempo.
➕ Great range of motion
➖ Arms (or body as a whole) are too stick-straight
➖ I think he's counting in his head, he can improve his musicality by simply listening to the instruments in a song (and applying it with his moves)
➖ Visibly stiff and prone to awkward transitions.
Thanks for watching!!! Sorry for no uploads 🥺
