Quick Study - An Acrylic Painting Tutorial

The Quick Study is a great way to prepare for a larger painting, explore composition ideas, or help you loosen up and have more fun painting. Your painting will be loose, colorful and beautiful! I'm working in acrylic paints on a canvas panel, but you can also paint on paper or anything else you like. In this video I'll take you through the whole process of creating a quick study step by step. I'm using Golden Open Acrylic paints (These are the slow drying product, but you can use whatever brand and colors you have on hand) in these colors: Titanium White, Quinacridone Gold, Hansa Yellow Opaque, Cadmium Orange, Ultramarine Blue, Jenkins Green. In Regular Golden Acrylic Paints I'm also using a yellow and a white. I'm also using a 3/8" wide flat synthetic brush - you will want something firm.
