Spaña Spotlight | EP 3: Making Music with Valle de Juventud

In this episode of Spaña Spotlight, we talk to three musicians here in the Valley who are looking to just jam out and share their love of music with others. We begin with our mentor, Anthony Lucero, a young musician here in Espanola who plays with many bands, one being with some of his equally talented family members, in Northern New Mexico. In the second half we talk to two youths who are beginning their journey into playing traditional music. Jojo being 16 and Jacob 14, both have been playing their instruments for close to a year. All three share why they have a love and appreciation for our more traditional songs.
