Reave of Refraction Helmet

the other reason you want strands i didnt mention is it basically blocks all lower tier mods when you go for the lock checking, ideally you want some strands for the final hinekoras lock on a mirror tier variant, but if you arent doing a mirrorable helmet and self crafting you can go without them. there is also another method to get the suffixes done and it is more expensive on average with recombination as you need to go for a 1/3 elevate (slightly lower with boat). the benefit of recombination is you actually get to keep all your strands but its a lot harder to set up the suffixes and you need to win the 50/50 base. you can also craft to not consume strands and make the item magic iirc, im just lazy
