Trains at Reading West | 23/05/2026

Joined by @EdwardHartley138, ‪@transportiscool455‬ , and @HJWTrainspotting! A great day trainspotting in the Reading area! Most trains in the video were filmed at Reading West (hence the title), however the first 2 clips were filmed at the much larger Reading station, including D1015 on the Golden Hind. Later in the day we managed to capture a class 56 convoy move with 56051, 56094, 56302 and 56049, with 2 of these locos (094 and 302) being exported to Ghana. It was a fantastic day despite the heat, and also marked 3 loco class' debut onto the channel, those being the class 52, 56 and 59!
