DeWalt Door Lock Jig and Cutter

DeWalt Door Lock Jig and Cutter. This video has received a bunch of criticisms on how the door Lock Jig was used and that the instructions were not followed. In fact the instructions were followed despite the comments and the bottom line is that this device is not well suited for the casual DYI Homeowner. Call a locksmith if you find yourself needing this done or carefully measure and use separate tools like hole saws and chisels to place the cutouts in their location where measuring is the most critical aspect of this job. Using this tool as a guide to reduce measuring is a joke. This tool is not worth the time or the effort of the DYI homeowner and no locksmith would ever buy this tool to use in a customer's home. Just ask them for yourself.
