Wassily Kandinsky was a Russian-born painter and art theorist who is widely regarded as one of the pioneers of abstract art. Born in 1866, Kandinsky was initially trained as a lawyer before dedicating his life to the study of art. He was a member of the Blue Rider movement and his work was heavily influenced by his interest in spiritualism, mysticism and symbolism. His unique approach to art revolutionized the traditional art world and inspired future generations of artists. Kandinsky's most famous works are his abstract compositions, characterized by bold and vibrant color combinations, fluid forms and dynamic lines. He believed that color and form could express emotions and convey spiritual experiences, and he sought to create a visual language that transcended the boundaries of the material world. Through his paintings, he aimed to evoke the inner spiritual world and express the unity of all things. Today, Kandinsky is remembered as one of the most important figures in the history of modern art, and his work continues to inspire and influence artists across the world. This slideshow will showcase some of his most iconic pieces, providing a glimpse into the mind of a true visionary and master of abstract art. #virtualgallery #slideshow #painting #art #kandinsky 00:00:00 Intro 00:00:04 Composition 2 00:00:39 Aquarell 00:01:14 Untitled 00:01:49 Houses at Murnau 00:02:24 Klänge 00:02:59 Improvisation No. 30 00:03:34 Painting with Green Center 00:04:09 Painting with Troika 00:04:44 Landscape with Two Poplars 00:05:19 The Waterfall 00:05:54 Gris 00:06:29 Free Curve to the Point 00:07:04 Kleine Welten VII 00:07:39 Kleine Welten VIII 00:08:14 Four Parts 00:08:49 Lithographie fur die Vierte Bauhausmappe 00:09:24 Improvisation 27 00:09:59 Kleine Welten IX 00:10:34 Violet 00:11:09 Kleine Welten I 00:11:44 Kleine Welten II 00:12:19 Kleine Welten III 00:12:54 Rain Landscape 00:13:29 Kleine Welten IV 00:14:04 Kleine Welten V 00:14:39 Kleine Welten VI 00:15:14 Colorful Life 00:15:49 Jaune Rouge Bleu 00:16:24 Oriental 00:16:59 Romantic Landscape 00:17:34 View from the window of the Griesbrau 00:18:09 Murnau with church 00:18:44 Improvisation Gorge 00:19:19 Improvisation 21A 00:19:54 Improvisation 19 00:20:29 Sketch 3 for composition VII 00:21:04 The cow 00:21:39 Improvisation 18 00:22:14 Impressions III 00:22:49 Railroad at Murnau 00:23:24 Improvisation 6 (African) 00:23:59 Mountain 00:24:34 Murnau Mountain Landscape with Church 00:25:09 Sketch 2 for composition VII 00:25:44 Violett (1923), 00:26:19 Kleine Welten IV 00:26:54 Study of Murnau - Landscape with Church 00:27:29 Improvisation 35 00:28:04 Dull gray 00:28:39 Strings of characters 00:29:14 Heavy red 00:29:49 Murnau, Burggrabenstrasse 1 00:30:24 La Flache 00:30:59 Pointed black 00:31:34 Riding couple Sound credits to: He Hears Me Worship Poured Claudio Mattos
