At that point both of them were busy handling their solo careers after the departure of their celebrated Pink Lady era known for their disco hits and such. This one in particular is way more different than what they released in their separated careers. I don't know, i just really like when japanese artists switch from something conventional to that blissful techno-kayo mode. And this album is no different! It's just pure fun synthpop album with some laid-back new wave aspects there and there. Incredible stuff.
