MELBOURNE SKYDECK LIFT | Eureka Tower | Otis SkyWay Hi-speed Traction Lift

When I last visited Melbourne Skydeck in 2015, Eureka Tower was Melbourne's tallest building. Since Australia 108 took that title as of 2020, this building is however, now Melbourne's second tallest. On that note, I could only do the down trip from Level 88 as the ride up was full and busy. Also, this lift was Australia's fastest lift until Q1 on the Gold Coast replaced their lift; a Kone Alta, into a much faster DX MiniSpace lift (10m/s) which goes even faster than this lift; which was installed by Otis back in 2006; (9m/s). I am quite surprised that the lift is still original; having Series 3 concave buttons and ELD indicators.
