Boundary Waters Trout Fishing Opener 2021: Sight Fishing Brook Trout

On the first day of trout fishing opener for the 2021 season, I travel into the Boundary Waters in Northern Minnesota to sight fish brook trout. I explain how to sight fish for brook trout using an auger, ice saw and portable fishing hub shelter. I talk about the baits I use, jigging techniques and how you can find success targeting them yourselves. I end up catching five trout total, two of which are over 15 inches. #brooktrout #sightfishing #boundarywatersbrooktrout
