5-Day Journey Exploring Navarre, Florida

Subscribe:    / @danreynoldsphotography210   ABOUT THIS ADVENTURE ► ABOUT THIS ADVENTURE I have visited Navarre Beach many times, but during the summers of 2025 and 2026, I explored the island and the Santa Rosa Sound to document its amazing landscape. In this film, I captured a lot of drone photography across the island and the sound, visited the Navarre Fishing Pier, and spotted a sea turtle. I talked to the fishermen and got some great views of Navarre Beach and the Gulf. I also had a great visit to the Santa Rosa Gulf Islands National Seashore, where I walked the beach, went on a bike ride, and captured some beautiful photos of the sand dunes and my ride. The drive home featured the colorful houses along the island, and as usual, at the end of each chapter, I feature the landscape photography I made during that chapter. I had a good solo hike there, and the silence of the waves and the wind on a sunny day was breathtaking. I also discovered the motorized paragliders on the west end of the island and captured some neat photography of them taking off and flying above Navarre. I've often seen them flying over the Navarre Beach area but finally had the chance to watch them behind the scenes. I spent some time on the Santa Rosa Sound and was granted access to a neat dock, where I captured some really nice sunset and drone photographs, as well as a beautiful sunrise at 5:30 a.m. one morning. I also visited many restaurants in the area and enjoyed some great seafood, while also eating some excellent meals in nearby Pensacola, only 11 miles away.
