ZARS DCTC 6/7/26 | LV3 | Final Session

Cockpit, FPV. Insta360 X5 camera. The first real session of ZARS DCTC where things finally started to click. My body position dramatically improved, my wrists loosened up, I was no longer death gripping the bars, and I started to push. Looking back on all this now, I was still a pretty solid novice. I was taking bad lines, running wide, braking early, not pushing speeds, and trying to avoid obstacles or uneven surfaces rather than adapting to them to take the best lines. That all changed as I kept returning for more schooling, but not so much in the here and now for this video. The RSV4 is a hoot, but you can definitely tell it's not quite at home on such a small, restricted track, but it manages. It doesn't help that my suspension was not properly tuned for my weight at this stage. Out of the box, its built for a 145 lb Italian jockey, not my 225 lb American ass. Even better, my rear shock was blown and I had no idea. Fixing that shock and getting my suspension upgraded and dialed in helped immensely in future visits to DCTC.
