Driving Around Small Town Benton, Illinois in 4k Video

Filmed on Sunday, September 8 2024, I drive around Benton, IL to see what's going on. Benton is named for Missouri senator Thomas Hart Benton. On April 19, 1928, Benton was the site of one of the last public hangings in Illinois, when Charles Birger was executed for murder. Benton was the location of the 2023 season of Bravo's "Welcome to Crappie Lake", in which "Real Housewives" stars Luann de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan spend five weeks in Benton. #drivingtour #smalltownlife #illinois
