With Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren on the set of Peter Weir's THE MOSQUITO COAST

In 1986, I went down to Belize to be the production publicist on Peter Weir’s film. My job was to interview the cast, Harrison Ford, Helen Mirren, and River Phoenix, and write up the press materials. I have a few choice stories to share, and I’ll be talking about River Phoenix in a future video. 00:00 The Mosquito Coast 00:21 Belize 00:36 The Novel 01:45 Harrison Ford 03:49 Producer Jerome Hellman 05:22 Working with Harrison Ford 06:53 Helen Mirren 10:55 Director Peter Weir 12:30 Peter Weir and Director of Photography John Seale 13:30 River Phoenix - Subject of a Future Video 13:57 The Hurricane Sequence 17:22 The Little Planes 19:29 Saying Goodbye to Harrison 21:02 My Epiphany on the Raft On Set Photos by Francois Duhamel for Warner Brothers Helen Mirren at Berlinale - Harald Krichel CC Attribution Share Alike 3.0 https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fi...
