It turns out I know Sunny (Srawut Promyotin) from 20 years ago right here in Bangkok. He is a phenomenal Thai musician and he is actually the house band for Howie's show. I have dropped some unseen footage of Nene absolutely shredding on the guitar right at the start of this video. Beyond her insane technical skills, the real story here is the Thai connection. When you look at his track record with Sunny and now his massive backing of Nene, it is incredibly clear that Howie Mandel has a long history of recognising and actively supporting Thai musicians on the global stage.
